Job Summary

As a Production Supervisor at Shield AI, you will lead production operations and manufacturing teams, ensuring efficient workflow, high product quality, and timely delivery. This hands-on leadership role requires a proactive approach to solving production challenges and fostering continuous improvement as our company grows.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise daily production operations, ensuring adherence to safety, quality, and productivity standards

• Manage and coordinate production schedules and resources to meet output targets and delivery deadlines

• Lead, coach, and develop production teams, promoting a culture of accountability and operational excellence

• Collaborate with engineering, quality, maintenance, and supply chain teams to resolve issues and drive process improvements

• Monitor production metrics, identify bottlenecks, and proactively implement solutions to optimize workflow

• Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and safety standards

• Oversee onboarding and training of new production team members

• Support the introduction of new products, upgrades, and manufacturing initiatives

Basic Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in production, manufacturing, or operations leadership

• Demonstrated ability to manage schedules and resolve operational challenges in a fast-paced environment

• Experience leading and developing production or manufacturing teams

• Strong knowledge of manufacturing best practices, quality control, and workflow optimization

• Excellent communication skills with the ability to work cross-functionally

• High attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality

• Ability to thrive in a dynamic, growth-focused organization

Preferred Qualifications

• 7+ years’ experience in supervising manufacturing or production teams, especially in aerospace, defense, or tech-intensive environments

• Experience with process improvement, lean manufacturing, or continuous improvement methodologies

• Familiarity with ERP and production scheduling systems

• Experience in high-growth, scaling production operations

• Knowledge of export control requirements (e.g., ITAR/EAR)
