About the Role
You'll be the third designer on a remote-first fintech team building identity and onboarding infrastructure for businesses globally. Design is a core differentiator here, and you'll shape how complex financial and compliance workflows become intuitive, conversion-focused experiences, from system foundations to end-to-end customer journeys.
What You'll Do
• Build and maintain a modular design system that powers both live product implementations and Figma prototypes.
• Design complex, multi-step onboarding flows that adapt to varied, modular customer needs.
• Apply a conversion-focused mindset by measuring, testing, and iterating on every step of the user experience.
• Prototype quickly and systematically, validating ideas fast and refining based on customer feedback.
• Collaborate closely with front-end and back-end engineering teams to ensure designs translate faithfully into production.
• Shape design culture and establish standards that help the team scale sustainably.
What We're Looking For
• 4 to 6 or more years designing complex products or workflows, ideally in B2B SaaS, enterprise tools, or fintech/compliance environments.
• Demonstrated experience building and maintaining design systems with modular, reusable components across Figma and live implementations.
• Proven ability to design multi-step onboarding flows and customer journeys with a focus on conversion optimization and A/B testing.
• Experience designing for compliance, identity/KYC, or regulated fintech workflows.
• Strong systems thinking: you design scalable, interconnected solutions rather than isolated screens.
• Analytical rigor: you treat interactions and journeys as testable, optimizable hypotheses and back decisions with data.
• Clear communicator who documents design decisions, trade-offs, and learnings for team alignment.
• Comfortable navigating complex system logic while moving quickly through ambiguity.
• Available to work within EU timezones.
Location
Fully remote, with a preference for candidates based in Europe (EU timezone required). No visa sponsorship is available.
