Electrical Systems Engineer – Advanced Development

• This is a hands-on, early-stage development role where creativity, technical leadership, and multidisciplinary collaboration are essential.
• You will support concept feasibility, system definition, and rapid prototyping to bridge cutting-edge technologies with real-world applications, ensuring scalable and manufacturable solutions.

Here are some of the EXCITING things you’ll get to do:
• Support early-stage technology and system architecture development across electrical, embedded, and software domains.
• Support design and testing of reusable subsystem modules.
• Validate subsystem designs and reusable modules against defined system-level requirements.
• Integrate cross-functional subsystems: electronics, sensors, firmware, mechanics into cohesive platforms.
• Conduct system-level trade-off analyses and technical risk assessments.
• Foster a systems-thinking culture within the advanced development team.
• Collaborate with global engineering, ID/UX, product management, and manufacturing teams.
ATTRIBUTES:
• Ability to identify and implement new technologies that drive impactful architecture changes.

• Effective interpersonal and leadership skills, with high emotional intelligence.
SKILLS:
• Systems architecture and integration across electrical, embedded, and mechanical domains
• Analog/digital circuit design: low-noise, A/D, D/A, filters, transmission lines
• Power electronics: AC/DC, PFC, flyback, buck/boost, compliance with regulatory standards
• Embedded systems: ARM, microcontrollers, memory interfaces, firmware co-design
• Sensor integration: LiDAR, IR, ToF, IMUs, cameras, motion and proximity sensors
• Wireless communications: Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, 433 MHz
• Edge AI / ML implementation (a plus)
• Rapid prototyping: Arduino, Raspberry Pi, or similar frameworks
EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE:
• BSc or MS in Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related discipline
• 1-5 years of relevant experience in technical engineering role
• Experience in advanced development, preferably within consumer electronics or consulting for consumer product companies is a plus
Salary and Other Compensation: The annual salary range for this position is displayed below. Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

$74,100—$108,000 USD
