outcomes. You will own end-to-end problem-solving for critical workstreams, navigating complex challenges and ensuring strong execution and
operational excellence across the organization.
This is a hybrid individual contributor and people-manager role. You will directly lead high-priority initiatives while managing and developing a team
of Senior Managers and Managers. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to translate ambiguous strategic priorities into structured,
executable programs.
This is a hands-on leadership role requiring strong analytical depth. You will work closely with data, conduct root-cause analyses, understand
underlying customer and business dynamics, and use these insights to set direction and deliver measurable outcomes.
What You Will Do
Strategy & Problem Solving: Identify 10x impact opportunities across your charter and build conviction through opportunity sizing and early
experiments to scale a charter into a company-level bet.
- End-to-End Ownership: Own the ideation, implementation, and delivery of key business metrics (P&L, GMV , NMV , or KRs) across the
workstreams in your charter.
- Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with and influence senior cross-functional stakeholders across Product, Tech, Design, Analytics,
Marketing, Finance, and Operations to align on and deliver business objectives.
- Program Management: Build and defend a prioritization framework across immediate, medium, and long-term goals; craft KPIs and reporting/monitoring cadences that drive efficiency and operational excellence across large-scale programs.
- Data-Driven Execution & RCA: Own rigorous root-cause analyses when business-critical metrics move — distinguishing genuine signal from noise, selection effects, or measurement artifacts — and present data-backed solutions to senior leadership.
- People Leadership: Manage, coach, and grow a team of Senior Managers and Managers on select workstreams while directly driving other high-priority initiatives as an individual contributor.
- Vision & Roadmap: Understand the market landscape and customer/seller behavior to define the medium- to long-term (12–18 month+) roadmap for your charter areas.
- Represent the Business View: Represent the business perspective in cross-functional forums — pushing back on framings that don't hold up, and ensuring decisions are grounded in actual user/seller/business realities.
- Talent & Team Building: Hire, coach, and develop Senior Managers and Managers on your team; act as a talent magnet for the org, and build a psychologically safe, autonomous culture where the team can take bold bets and fail fast.
- Speed & Org-Level Unblocking: Set the org's cadence for fast, high-quality decision-making — aligning cross-functional stakeholders and dependencies (people, process, tools) so teams can move from V1 to V2/V3 quickly, without compromising quality.
- Long-Term Vision & BHAGs: Define the 2–3 year roadmap and help shape Meesho's BHAGs for your charter areas, continuously evaluating direction and course-correcting to stay aligned to long-term goals.
What You will Need
- Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree from a top-tier institute.
- Experience: 7–10+ years of relevant experience in Growth, Strategy & Ops, Management Consulting, or a high-growth startup/e-commerce environment.
- Analytical Aptitude: Strong "problem-first" thinking with the ability to break down complex, ambiguous problem statements into structured, actionable plans.
